He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Ewing and Margaret Woodard; his former wife Donna Chase Ewing; and his siblings, Joanna Gibson, Catherine Mullins and Richard Ewing.
He is survived by: his wife Hope Ewing; his children, Jeannie Ewing, Pamela Head (Eric), Eric Ewing, Rick Rice and Donnie Black (Angie); and his siblings, Robert Ewing (Judy), Jerry Ewing, Rose Devinney (Guy) and Lola Huff (Terry). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
