He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Woodrow Leon and Jean Ann Scott Davis; his wife Sandra Kay Skidmore Davis; his children, Dan Skidmore (Misty) of Whittier, NC, Chad Burton (Terri) of Cherokee, NC and Tina Burton (Nathan West) of Whittier, NC; and his siblings, David Leon Davis (Sharon) of Lucasville, Jack Eugene Davis of Mansfield, Patricia Jean Cable (Frank) of Monroe, GA, Nancy Sue McGauley (John) of Ft. Wayne, IN and Carolyn Ruth Hobbs (Donald) of Lucasville. He was also cherished by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be sent to the American Red Cross.
