It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Eugene Thompson of Lucasville, Ohio, born in Wheelersburg, Ohio, who passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Thompson and Thelma Thompson (Dot); and his brother Jim Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thompson (Leadingham); his sons, Michael Thompson (Kim), Matthew Thompson (Lisa) and Marcus Thompson (Mandy); his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Bell (Jordan), Mikala Johnson (Britton), Molly Thompson, Maribeth Gifford (Cameron), Maxon Thompson, Weston and Waylon Johnson; and his siblings, Joyce Lowry (Bob) of Savannah, John Thompson (Barb) of Minford and Roger Thompson (Heidi) of Marion. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
