She is survived by: her children, Rex Kerns Jr., Nick Kerns, Elvis Kerns, Jason Kerns, Brandon Cooper, Connie Sue Kerns and Crystal Gail Kerns; and her brother Sonny Steele. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
