He was predeceased by: his father James Roy Puckett; his sons, Scotty Dean Puckett and Jeffrey Dee Puckett; and his siblings, James Donald Puckett, Doug Puckett, Olive Puckett Spencer Detty, Eleanor Evans and Stella Spencer.
He is survived by: his children, Penny Carver (Rick) of McDermott, Kathy "Kitty" Crabtree (Tony) of Lucasville, Jerry Lee Puckett (Bobbie Jo) of Portsmouth and Chelsey Rae Patches Heinlen (Jon) of Hazlehurst, Georgia; his grandchildren, Tony Crabtree, Jr., Jennifer Hall, Rebecca Crabtree, Ryan Crabtree, Tiffany Chidsey (Michael), Ayla Puckett, Jeffrey Puckett, Shawn Puckett, Mark Cox, Ashley Puckett, Britany Puckett, Breanna Phipps, Kylee Lepore (Corey), Hannah Crabtree, Elizabeth Heinlen and Sofia Heinlen; and his brother Dave Puckett (Stella) of McDermott. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
