She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Crabtree and Kathryn Josephine Jeffries Altman; her husband Joseph Edward Rose; and her siblings, William Sylvester Crabtree, John Raymond Crabtree, Rosalee Stevens and Virginia Ella Crabtree.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Rose (Belinda) of Lucasville, Karen Rose of Hilliard, Debbie Prose of Portsmouth and Rita Garrick of Columbus; and her brothers, Thomas Franklin Crabtree of Lucasville, Steven Joseph Crabtree of Lucasville and James Carl Crabtree of Lucasville. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren.
The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to SOMC Hospice in Betty's name.
