He was predeceased by: his parents, Caleb Kurtz and Mary Ella Kurtz (Osborne); his siblings, John Kurtz, Raymond Kurtz, Ed Kurtz, David Kurtz, Gene Kurtz and Mary Heston; his daughter-in-law Debra K. Kurtz; his grandson Derrick Mullins; and his great grandchild Logan Frost.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Kurtz (Harry); his children, Greg Kurtz (Jan), Steve Kurtz (Lisa) and Barb Mullins (Perry); his grandchildren, Kristin Kurtz, Steve Kurtz, Jr., Candace Frost (Tim), Caitlin Kurtz, Josh Mullins (Callie), Fayth Mullins and Alayah Mullins; his great grandchildren, Raegan Frost, Marley Mullins, Macy Mullins, Moxon Mullins, Lucian Senitt and Elias Mullins; and his siblings, Martha Brumenshenkel (Wilbur), George Kurtz (Debbie), Kenny Kurtz (Gwen), Naomi Harry (Bill) and Dorothy Sorg (Dan).
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, Ltd. (1106 Park Ave E, Mansfield, OH 44905). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
