He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kurtz (Britton); his children, Dennis E. Kurtz of Virginia, Mary Kay Putman (Tim) of Lucas, Caleb D. Kurtz of Lucas and Laura R. Frye (Vern) of Loraine; his grandchildren, Hunter Kurtz of South Carolina, Hannah Kurtz of South Carolina, Emma Kurtz of South Carolina, Maddi Kurtz of South Carolina, Allison Putman of Lucas and Grayson Putman of Lucas; and his siblings, Martha Brumenshenkel (Wilbur), Jim Kurtz (Sue), Naomi Harry, Dorothy Sorg (Dan), Kenneth Kurtz (Gwen) and George Kurtz (Debbie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
