It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin E. Erb of Lower Salem, Ohio, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Erb and Marjorie Greathouse Erb; his wife Shirley Groves; and his brother Bill. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa; his son-in-law Robert Buchanan of Lowell; his granddaughters, Taylor Cruz (Eduardo) of Kissimmee and Kasey Buchanan of Kettering, Ohio.; his siblings, Marie Barton of Tucson Arizona, Bonnie Eddy of Newport, Brenda Long (Mike) of Fleming, Wayland Erb (Wynn) of Lower Salem and Bruce Erb (Patricia) of Lower Salem; his brothers-in-law, Rick Groves (Debbie) of Marietta and Merle Hall of Marietta; his niece Kimberly Baker (Travis) of Caldwell; his pets, Roscoe and Mikey; and also, Janell, Eddy McConnell and Melvin. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
