He was predeceased by: his parents, Kurt Johnson and Madeline Spacht Johnson; and his siblings, Jack Johnson, Kenny Johnson, Virginia Lenhart and Margaret Dennis.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn J. Spear; his children, Roger E. Johnson, Jr. of Wentzville, Lisa Flores of Reno and Jean Bogan (Chris) of Boardman; his sister Joyce White (Joe) of North Carolina; and his grandchildren, Romeo Johnson and Sage Trexler-Johnson.
