He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sheely and Sophia Sheely (Geisman); his wife Geraldine Allen; his siblings, Ross Sheely, Ruth Ackman, Marie Yost, Ethel Tomkins and Twylah Schmidt; and his siblings-in-law, Warren, Eugene, Harold Allen, Jim Yost (Flossie), Andrew Schmidt, Richard Tomkins, Ray Ackman, Joel Cyrus, Carl Osberg, Jack Crouse, Ray Wichert, Rod Burroughs, Seward McCreery, Dorothy Dombroski, Virginia McCreery, Bonnie Allen and Ethel Sheely.

He is survived by: his children, Robert Sheely (Stephanie) of Lowellville and Linda Swanson (Richard) of Boardman; his grandchildren, Beau, Kelly, Korie Swanson, Erin Lewis (Bill) and Matthew Sheely (Gina); his great grandchildren, Andrew Swanson, Morgan, McKenna Lewis and Alina Sheely; his siblings-in-law, Bob Dombroski, Sam (Diana), Donnie (Charlotte), Tom (Nancy), Larry Allen (Audrey), Shirley Wichert, Marian Burroughs, Martha Cyrus, Phyllis Simmers (Phil), Carol Osberg, Nancy Crouse, Donna Allen and Darla Allen; and his close friend Gloria Hum. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
