He was predeceased by: his father Bernard Dess; and his wife Margaret Mary Kirlik. He is survived by: his sons, Eric (Laurie Harris) of Coitsville and Jay (Jenn) of Hubbard; his brothers, Darrell Dess (Carol) of New Castle and Jim (Ann) of New Castle; his siblings-in-law, Rosemarie Dickinson (Ralph) of Boardman, Suzanne Martucci (Anthony) of Struthers, John Kirlik of Coitsville, Janice Kirlik of Poland and Barb Dess of West Pittsburg; his grandson Ethan Best (Aristada) of Hubbard; his parents-in-law, John and Margaretta Kirlik; his siblings, David Dess and Anita Shevitz; his brother-in-law Edward Shevitz; his niece Heidi Dess; and his nephew John Kirlik. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews; and the greatest friends and neighbors.
