He was predeceased by: his father Robert F. Hinton; his children, Deborah Kay Hinton and James Allan Hinton; and his siblings, Robert F. Hinton, Jr., Betty Delong and Jeane Dowler.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Reynolds Hinton; his children, Michael Hinton (Jody) and Lisa Ryan (Jason); his grandchildren, Kara Myers (Dustin), Kelcey Sachs (Dean), Haley Arnold (Jacob), Kyle Ryan (Kayla) and Evan Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Lane Sachs and Isla Myers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
