He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Clyde and Hilda Grace Pasco Polen. He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Polen (Donna) of Lowell, Tom Polen (Vicki) of Caldwell and James Polen Jr. (Charlotte) of Atlanta, GA; and his siblings, Richard Polen (Nina) of Brilliant, OH, Mary Lutz (John Bungert) of Seward, PA, Gracie Devore (Rich) of Brilliant and Margie Polen of Mingo Junction, OH.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
