He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Burgess Lenhart and Mildred Irene Lenhart (Landerman); his wife Evelyn Tanya Lenhart (Karcher); his stepmother Violet Lenhart (Hollandsworth); his brothers, John and David Lenhart; and his son-in-law Timothy Ginther.
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Padgitt, Scott Lenhart (Vicky), Doug Lenhart (Stephanie) and Susan Ginther; his grandchildren, Erin Miller (Jason), Amanda Clark (Jonas), Taylor Padgitt, Michael, Thomas, Steven Lenhart, Derek, Brent and Mitchell Ginther; his great grandchildren, Mikenna, Aisley and Adelynn Clark; his half-sister Debbie Smith; and his stepsister Virginia Simpson.
