He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph L. Long and Helen Thieman Long; and his great grandchild Cason Binegar. He is survived by: his son Eugene; his stepchildren, Michael Hendershot (Young Hee), Timothy Hendershot (Paula) and Thomas Hendershot (Angie); and his brothers, Ed Long (Grace) of Lowell and Jerry Long of Lower Salem. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
