He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hockenberry and Dorothy Hockenberry; his wife Jean Irene Hockenberry; his grandson Chad; and his brothers, Jim and Bob Hockenberry.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles Jr. (Debbie), Larry (Martine) and Jay (Tonda); his sisters, Glenda Camden and Norma Jean Pitzer; his grandchildren, Eric (Jessica), Stacy (James), Kristen (Josh) and Jacklyn (Brandon); and his great grandchildren, Ethan and Elijah.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Shrivers Hospice and the Mid-Ohio Valley Humane Society.
