He was predeceased by: his mother Marie Jones; and his wives, Davenna Jones, Doris Johnson and Joyce Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Davinna Marie Johnson, Walter Johnson, Jr., Vaalencia M. Johnson and John Johnson; his siblings, Delores Johnson, Debora Elizabeth Jones, Ruth Ann Johnson and Edward Eugene Johnson; his grandchildren, Renia Browder, Antonio Johnson, Zachary Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Matthew South, Alexia Johnson, Danielle Johnson-Jones and Kushana Boler; his stepsons, Anthony Lee, Sr. and Jeffrey Lee; and his stepgrandson Anthony Lee, Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great grandchildren, great nieces, great nephews, and a host of many friends.
