Stephen Frank Czvizler Obituary
Istvan Ferenc (Stephen Frank) Czvizler, beloved husband of Violet Czvizler, loving father of Stephanie (Chris) Ezer, Ericka (Kevin) Ashby, and Avonna Czvizler. We greatly miss him along with his 5 grandchildren who he loved beyond words: Madisyn, Klaire, Oaklee, Ellie, and Mason. Brother-in-law of Avon (Mike) Storlie, Tim (Teresa) Masterson, Albert Masterson, and Jamie Masterson. Further survived by a niece and nephews, as well as several great nieces. Istvan (Stephen) will be fondly remembered as a loving Husband, Father, and Nagypapa.
He came over to America from Budapest, Hungary in 1971 to escape communism and made an amazing life for himself here with his mom. He had a few different jobs, one as a dental technician, then went from bodybuilding, to a bar bouncer, in which he met the love of his life and spent the next 35 years building a wonderful life and family together, and he then landed his amazing career as a service engineer at GE where he was able to travel the world, and in turn retired after 20 years. He then devoted the next 11.5 years of his life to being the best Nagypapa he could be to his 5 wonderful grandchildren.
Whether he was letting them play doctor with him, sticking stickers to his face, watching movies in his rocking chair with them, or having them rub his arm, spending that time with them brought him the upmost joy. He enjoyed watching bodybuilding or watch making videos, watching Hallmark movies with his wife, spending time with his 3 girls and giving the absolute best fatherly advice, and eating the best Hungarian food money can buy. Istvan (Stephen) passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024 at the age of 72 with his family by his side.
Since his wish was to be cremated and ashes to be sprinkled in Lake Superior in Duluth, Minnesota, a private celebration of life will be held Sunday September 22nd with close friends and family. We are immensely grateful for the support we've received during this difficult time. We ask that in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation towards the funerals costs to help us honor his loss in accordance with his wishes.
