He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pettit and Marie Pettit (Garrison); and his siblings, Lee Pettit, Lloyd Pettit, Virginia Pettit and Lillian Pettit.
He is survived by: his children, Maria Walden (Larry), Ronald Pettit (Rachel), Debbie Baker (Jeff) and Ruth Arp; and his brother Danny Pettit. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
