He was predeceased by: his father Robert J. Ott; and his wife Lynn L. Ott. He is survived by: his daughters, Kerry Kronenberger (John) and Shannon Vasconcellos (Tim); his grandchildren, Michael, Jane Kronenberger, Ana, Ella and Joey Vasconcellos; his brother Terry Ott (Sandy); and his pet Livvy.
