He was predeceased by: his parents, William Locke and Agnes Locke; and his siblings, Bobby Locke (Gail), Elizabeth Rolke and Doug Locke (Theresa).

He is survived by: his wife Theresa Locke; his children, Meranda, Adam and Emilie (Ricky); his grandchildren, Myles, Maya and Maddox; and his sister Becky Locke (Dianna).

Memorial donations may be made to Richard's family to assist with a memorial bench to be placed at Symmes Park.
