He is survived by: his wife Pamela Maurer; his son Michael A. Maurer; his grandchildren, Tristan Maurer and Emily Maurer; his niece Amy Waddell; his nephews, Steven Waddell, David Waddell and Jason Hensley; and his sister-in-law Linda Woodward.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Mike's memory can be directed to the American Cancer Society.
