She was predeceased by: her husband John D. Spelman, Sr.; and her siblings, Joni Liggett and James Veddern. She is survived by: her sons, John D. Spelman, Jr. and Jeffrey Spelman (Michelle); her grandchildren, Crosley, Cannon and Colsten Spelman; her siblings, Jan Eide, Patricia Adams (Darryl), Charles Veddern, Daniel Veddern (Marti) and Timothy Veddern (Ann); and her nieces and nephews, David Eide (Yoko), Nancy Henroid (Chris), Danny Veddern (Abby), Christopher Veddern, Alex Kilgore (Kevin), Lisa Wilkens-Maynus (Troy) and Brad Wilkens (Tricia).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home (10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (106 Maple St, Cincinnati, OH 45215).
