Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Leshyn (Loveland, Ohio), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 84, on June 28, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Leshyn and Sophie Leshyn; his daughter Maria Cristina; his brother Robert Leshyn; his brothers-in-law, Alan Overbaugh and Joaquín Ferrer; and his cousin Joseph Leshyn.
He is survived by: his wife Elena; his daughters, Barbara Leshyn, Karen Luther (Matthew) and Christina Kodesh (Dan); his grandchildren, Shandra Weaver (Matthew), Alexandra Lacy (Dalton), Sean-Michael, Olivia Kraft, Madeleine, Eric Luther, Zachary and Elisenda Kodesh; his great grandchildren, Nathanial, Cassius Weaver, Dax, Gemma and Stella Lacy; his siblings, Lois Overbaugh and David Leshyn (Marie); and his sisters-in-law, Regina Leshyn and María Ángeles Ferrer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and his many friends.
Two years later, somehow managing to be Covid 19 free, cancer -this time pancreatic- got him again.
