He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Joslin Crooks Wooden; his parents, Clara L. Wooden, and James L. Wooden, Sr.; his siblings, Danielle Roberts Sistrunk (Ezekiel), Claire Wooden Hines, James Wooden, Jr. (Peggy) and Armitter Wooden; his stepchildren, Danielle Palmore, Ashley Rogers (Terrence) and Darryl Fullen, Jr. (Ashley); and his stepgrandchildren, Caleb, Cori, Faith, Ava, Ayden and Avery.
