She is survived by: her husband Ray D. Wedig; her children, Daphne Wedig-Griffis, John Wedig (Azalea), Gillian Casstevens (Michael) and Jennifer Sparks (Steve); her grandchildren, Benjamin Griffis, Sebastian Wedig (Diane), Gena O'Bryan (Ben), Dana Garmany, Justin Sparks, Elijah Sparks and John Sparks; her great grandchild Colton Gray; and her sister Michele Yohanna. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Her dedication and contributions to the military and civilian communities was recognized by a personal letter from the White House signed by President George H.W. Bush in 1989.
