He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond G. Mellett and Berdice Mellett; and his sister Brenda Mellett. He is survived by: his wife Carol I. Mellett (Naderman); his son Butch Leonard (Debbie); his sisters, Sharon Hale (late David), Donna Gelhart (Daniel) and Sally Kerrigan (Pat); and his grandchildren, Ashley, Kayla, Ryan, Dustin, Nathan and Jaryd. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
