He was predeceased by: his parents, William Obst and Doris Obst; and his brother Michael Obst (late Laura). He is survived by: his wife Susan Hern; his children, Thomas Obst and Kellie Obst (Lindsey); and his siblings, William Obst (Barb), Trisha Obst and Kim Wells (Jim).
