He was predeceased by: his son Andy Acus (Patti); and his brother Jack Acus (Lois). He is survived by: his daughter Amy Downey (Todd); his grandchildren, Dr. Amanda Downey-Dickison (Daniel), Tyler Downey, Sarah McDonough (Brian), Andrea Powell (Daniel) and Emily Acus; his great grandchildren, Rowan, Mikey and Mallory; and his uncle Bud.
In remembrance of Mr. Acus' life, the family requests charitable donations to the Valley Interfaith Community Resource Center, Sycamore Presbyterian Church or the Sycamore Alumni & Friends Association in lieu of flowers.
