She was predeceased by: her husband Roy J. Plaatje; her son David Plaatje (Sheryl); and her parents, Frederick Watson and Dorothy Watson. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Plaatje (Marilyn) and Timothy Plaatje (Kamila); her grandchildren, AJ, James, Rebecca, Nicholas and Kyra Plaatje; her great grandchild Larkin Plaatje; and her sister Nancy Parker (Rick).
