He was predeceased by: his parents, James Miller and Lena Miller (Bastin); his wife Judy Kay Miller (Young); his sons, Donald Miller and Kevin Ray Miller; and his siblings, Harold Miller, Wanda Mercer and Wilma Greer.

He is survived by: his children, Douglas Miller of Kings Mills, Ohio and Kimberly Miller Cisneros of Fairfield, Ohio. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
