It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alvin H. Janson Jr. of Loveland, Ohio, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his stepson Herb Roehm; and his parents, Alvin H. Sr. Janson and Anna Marie Janson. He is survived by: his daughter Lana Vandt (Mick); his grandchildren, Mikayla Vandt, Ethan Lloyd, Owen Lloyd, Jennifer Caudill, Crystal Roehm and Adam Roehm; and his siblings, Mary Ann Ellis (Steve), Theresa Sloan (late Tom), Cathy Engel (Jim) and Phillip Janson (Marilyn). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home - Goshen Chapel (1668 OH-28, Goshen, OH 45122). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (5890 Buckwheat Rd, Milford, OH 45150). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Andrews Cemetery.
