He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hegener and Loretta Hegener (Rechtin). He is survived by: his wife Carol Hegener (Blom); his children, John Hegener (Debra Lapatina), Debbie Langfritz (Mark), William Hegener and Regina Simms (Jim); and his granddaughters, Emily and Olivia Simms.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mother of God Cemetery (3125 Madison Ave, Latonia, KY 41015). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
