It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy (Gula) Burwell (Louisville, Ohio), born in Beaver, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George McDade and Margaret McDade; her grandson Timothy Friesner; her husband Roy Burwell; and her brother George McDade Jr..
She is survived by: her children, George Ronald Gula Jr. (Julie), Bruce Gula (Karen) and Kim Friesner (Jack); her grandchildren, Angela Emmons (Rob), Christopher Friesner (Jess), Melissa Reinford (Ryan), Michael Gula (Gina), Beth Huprich (James), Allison Wilson (Josh), George Gula, Kristen Gula, Stephanie Nash, Stephen John Burwell, William Burwell, Cameron Burwell and Nicole Sollazzo; her brother Marshall McDade; and her stepchildren, Steve Burwell, Tamara Sollazzo (Maurizio), Mike Burwell (Ginger) and Debra Cooksey. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, a private family service was held at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Pastor Rick Brown officiating.
