He is survived by: his wife Peggy Smith (Dawson); his children, Melinda Knueve (Chad) and Brent Smith (Stacy); his siblings, Susan Weber (Fred) and Phillip Smith (Cheryl); and his grandchildren, Cade and Rory. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
