He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Duplain and Sophia Duplain (Journey); and his brother Larry Duplain. He is survived by: his wife Edna Duplain (Sogorka); his children, Renee Conaway (John) and James Duplain Jr.; his siblings, Darlene "Dee" Shannon (Ed), Sister Mary Ann Duplain, Betty McLaughlin (Chuck), Dorothy "Dot" Bricker, Russell Duplain (Pat) and Ron Duplain (Karen); and his grandchildren, Devin, Desiree, Ethan, Aden, Logan and Gabrielle.
