He is survived by: his wife Rosa Matako (Straley); his children, Gene Raymond Matako Jr. (Debra), Douglas Lee Matako (Diane) and Diana Lynne Matako Loboguerrero; and his brothers, George Matako and David Matako. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great -great grandchild.
