He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Hutto; his former wife Betty; his wife Laverne; his sons-in-law, Bill Emerson and Tony Smith; and his siblings, Georgia May Stertzbach, Ruth Brogan and Marvin Hutto.
He is survived by: his children, Marsha Emerson, Carol Ann Smith, Joyce Clark (Tom), Tom Hutto (Candy) and David Bechtel. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
