He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietro Pugnale and Mercedes Pugnale (DeFant); his sister Argia; and his brother-in-law Marland Showalter. He is survived by: his wife Joan Pugnale (Michel); his children, Janee Pugnale (Andrew Eick) and Michael Pugnale (Marci); his brother Ovidio Pugnale (Val); and his granddaughters, Ava, Siena, Louisa Pugnale, Isabella, Cecilia and Ellanora Eick. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stier-Israel Funeral Home (917 E Main St, Louisville, OH 44641). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Louis Catholic Church (300 N Chapel St, Louisville, OH 44641).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Timken Family Cancer Center at Aultman Hospital or St. Louis Catholic Church.
