With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elva S. Hackel of Louisville, Ohio, born in Grampian, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 9, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hritz and Mary Ann Hritz (Vozar); and her siblings, John, Andy, George, Peter, Paul, Nick and Helen.

She is survived by: her children, Bob Pontefract (Linda), David Pontefract (Rita), Clyde Pontefract, Susanne Pontefract and Dawn Morrissey (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Robert, Kimberly, Dixie Lee, Elizabeth, Sheila, David II, Ben, Samantha, Brook, John, Emily, Ryan and Lynn. She is also survived by her loving great-grandchildren.
