He was predeceased by: his parents, Elda Royer and Florence Royer (Minser); his former wife Lois Royer (Seifert); and his siblings, Esther Miller, Rueben and Arther Royer.
He is survived by: his wife Marita Hahn-Royer (Lepley); his children, Cynthia Thachter (Randy), Carolyn Coss, Claudia Hisey, Amy Sherwood (John) and David Royer (Daneille); and his stepchildren, Tammy Hahn, Jill Tupy (David) and Randy Hahn (Amy). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
