He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hodge and Freda Hodge; his former wife Juanita Hodge; and his wife Velma Hodge. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Hodge-Clapper (John), Russell (Paula), Randal (Tricia), Ronald and Rodney Hodge; and his sisters, Phyllis Decker and Marlene Bonnette. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
