He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil J. Sr. Beal and Jane Beal (Simmons); his wife Jan Beal (Duncan); and his siblings, Jim, David, Parker, Virgil Jr. and Iona.
He is survived by: his children, Ken Beal (Cindy) of Quaker City, Chuck Beal, Becky Peach (John) of West Lafayette, Jennifer Long of Coshocton and Matt Long (Rhonda) of Louisville; his grandchildren, Jacob Peach, Alex Kurucz, Hayden Kurucz, Chance Long (Tina), Jacque Hawkins (Coleman), Robby Long, Logan Long and Kevin Beal (Hannah); his great grandchildren, Bowen Beal and Joseph Long; his sister Linda; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Egler and Jerry Conaway. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
