He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ison and Bernice Ison (Bowman); and his brothers, Darel, Donald and Gary.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Ison (Wuske); his children, David Ison (Jen) of Canton, Mike Ison (Stacey) of Alliance and Stefanie Knouff (Craig) of Paris; his grandchildren, Devan, Merina and Dustyn; and his siblings, Linda Lilly (John) and Jim Riley (Kathy). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rossi Family Funeral Home, Inc. (730 30th St NW, Canton, OH 44709). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stark County Humane Society.
