He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Dayton and Ruth Dayton (Emph); his sons, Larry Dayton and Danny W. Dayton; his brother Edward Dayton; and his grandson Michael Dayton.
He is survived by: his wife Corrine; his daughter Lori Bigler (Gary); and his stepchildren, Kevan Lewis (Michelle), Travis Lewis (Jane) and Kimberly Haines (Rick). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
