He was predeceased by: his father Christopher W. Hyser Sr.; his grandmother Steffen; and his sister Lynda Jones. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his son Chris (Jessica); his grandchildren, Ellie and Andrew; his siblings, Patricia Rosa (Robert) and Robert Hyser (Barbara); and his brothers-in-law, Anthony Bagliani (Marianne), Joseph Bagliani (late June) and Robert Bagliani. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
