She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Donovan; her husband Merritt Whitmer (Bob); her siblings, Louise Dengler, Donald, Leo and Eddie Donovan; and her son-in-law Dale Tuel.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Tuel, Jo-Ann Winkleman (Brad) and James Whitmer (Kathy); her grandchildren, Charlie Tuel (Bethanne), Rhonda Stark (Jon), Andrew Whitmer, Julie Bowe (Chris), Kyle Winkleman and Dacey Winkleman; her great grandchildren, Holly (Tyler), Aly, Brandon, Paisley, Paden of Savannah, AJ, Brendan and Brittany; and her friend Rodney Martin. She is also survived by several step-great-grandchildren and a previous grandson-in-law.
