She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Groves and Dora Mae Groves; her husband Lester Slayman; her children, Wanda Curry and Eugene Slayman; and her sister Thelma Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Rodak (Jerry); her brother Russell Groves Jr.; her grandson Kevin Curry (Jill); her great grandchildren, Nate, Owen and Tyler; and her niece Darlene Minor (Wayne).
