He was predeceased by: his father Avery Cochran; his son Michael; and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Dana; his children, Angela Cochran, Aaron Cochran (Jacquelynn) and Kristen Miller (Travis); his grandchildren, Hannah, Caylee, Jacob, Julia, Benjamin, Lily, Luke, Logan and Leah; his siblings, Tim Cochran (Nancy), Teresa Reichman (Tom), Gary Cochran (Shannon) and Dan Cochran; and his sister-in-law Karen Cochran. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
